Lecture: October 8, 2009
Presenters: Christopher Costanza: Artist, NYS registered architect, LEED AP (leadership in energy efficiency and design accredited professional), member AIA (American institute of architects), member USGBC (US Green bldg. council), and also member of the Handyman Club of America. Xanthe Matychak teaches design in the Saunders College of Business and the new Innovation Center at RIT. She is interested in micro-business, local economies, and green design. Her green design work has appeared in several publications. She took a BA in music, writing, and sculpture from Ithaca College and a MFA in Industrial Design from RIT.

Lecture: September 11, 2009 | Workshop: September 11, 2009 Lecture focused on how to read and respond to an Open call for artists. Professionals shared helpful tips to raise your proposal to the top when submitting to a call. These leading artists shared how they have successfully addressed issues including what does a jury really want, and how to confidently represent criteria, durability, safety, maintenance and other issues. Presenters for this series included: Wendy Low, Eric M. Grace, Barbara Fox, Shawn Dunwoody, Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez.
